Other than non-melanoma skin cancer, prostate cancer is the most common cancer in American men It is estimated that 1 in 9 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in his lifetime. It is the second leading cause of cancer death in American men.

Arizona Oncology’s Curtis Mack, MD is currently part of a nationwide clinical trial with NRG Oncology that is evaluating the outcomes of reducing the number of radiation treatment days to as few as five. Currently most patients receive between 28 and 44 treatments.
